Snow peas – planting experiment

I tried something different this year by planting out the snow peas at the start of April.  You can read about this here.  The reason for doing this was to avoid the powdery mildew issues I have experience with the snow peas for the past few seasons over the warmer months.  I was not sure how fast the peas would grow, or how the flowers would be impacted by the colder weather, so I planted another crop in late May in the hope that this crop would see some warmer weather when the flowers were starting to appear.
